What’s your opinion? Let us know.

Welcome to CTViewpoints, The Connecticut Mirror’s forum for thoughtful commentary and opinion about news and issues of importance to Connecticut. We value your insights and opinions about the state and nation’s public policies and invite you to share them with our readers. To submit a commentary item or letter, please use the form below. If you have questions, feel free to email CTViewpoints Editor Paul Stern at pstern@ctmirror.org.

We are interested in original, unpublished articles that address issues, politics or policies as they affect Connecticut residents. A submitted piece should generally be 750 words or less, but shorter is better. Please read the contributor policy before submitting.

Also note: The form below is not for submitting comments that appear at the bottom of a published commentary. That requires a Facebook account and should be done at the bottom of the article itself.

AT ELECTION TIME: CTViewpoints regrets that it cannot publish third-party endorsements of candidates for elective office. (IRS rules prohibit tax-exempt organizations such as CTViewpoints from advocating for or criticizing candidates for elective office.) Candidates themselves may submit position papers and similar items as a form of voter education.
